Coffin with body of Badri Patarkatsishvili to be brought to tycoon’s Tbilisi residence

According to a REGNUM correspondent, the coffin with body of Badri Patarkatsishvili delivered by a special flight from London to Tbilisi on February, 26, about 09:00 a.m. will be transported to his residence “Arcadia”. Members of his family arrived by another special flight before the plane with body of Patarkatsishvili arrived.

The coffin was met by his family, relatives, Badri Patarkatsishvili’s Party members and Imedi Company staff at the airport. The long mourning procession followed to the residence and stopped en route for a minute near a local synagogue. Several dozen people met the procession near the residence.

A public memorial service will be held on February, 26 and 27 from 02:00 p.m. The funeral ceremony will be held on February 28, at 03:00 p.m. Badri Patarkatsishvili will be buried in the territory of his residence Arcadia.

Badri Patarkatsishvili, 52, tycoon, philantropist, recently an active opponent of the Georgian government died in the evening of February, 12 at his mansion in Surrey near London. According to preliminary estimation of British experts made on February 14, Badri Patarkatsishvili died of “natural causes.”
