Four Russian parties propose Dmitry Medvedev as their common presidential contender
Four parties, United Russia, Just Russia, the Agrarian Party and Civil Force have proposed Dmitry Medvedev as their common presidential contender. The announcement was made at a meeting of the four parties’ leaders today with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The proposal was sounded by United Russia leader Boris Gryzlov, and Vladimir Putin responded to it that he “fully supports the candidature.” “As for Dmitry Medvedev’s candidature, I have been acquainted with him for more than 17 years and I fully support his candidature,” Vladimir Putin said.
