Georgian air force commander: Georgian reconnaissanse plane was shot down by MiG-29 that left to Russia

Commander of Georgian air force David Nairashvili told journalists on April 21 that Georgian unmanned aircraft was shot down by a MiG-29, Kavkaz Press news agency informed.
Abkhazian officials informed that on April 20, a Georgian unmanned aricraft was shot down above the sea near Primorskoye village of Gali region. Georgian defense ministry has rebutted the information.
Nairashvili stated that the unmanned aircraft was in possession of the Georgian interior ministry and was performing a planned flight over the Georgian territory. Regarding the aircraft that shot down the Georgian airplane, Nairashvili said: “We have all the evidence that the MiG took off from a military base in Gudauta, performed a flight southward and shot down an unmanned aircraft in the Gali region, following which it left in the northern direction and crossed the Russian border.”
“We have radar records showing, according to the NATO standards, the MiG-29 trajectory,” Gen Nairashvili stressed, pointing out that there were no MiG-29 in the inventory of the Georgian air force. According to the head of the Georgian air force, Georgian foreign ministry is going to issue a statement “regarding the act of aggression.”
