Georgian opposition picketing Saakashvili's Chancery

Opposition activists are currently surrounding State Chancellery of Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili. They have come here from the Rustaveli Prospect, where a protest action in support of Imedi TV station has been started on March 24.

The protesters are chanting: “Misha, give Imedi back to the people!” The rally is reported to be coordinated by one of opposition leaders Goga Khaindrava. Law enforcement officers have been brought to the chancery building in several buses.

Part of the rally, holding candles, are still remaining at the parliament building, Ekho Moskvy radio has reported.
