Home kits for low-rise construction to be manufactured in Novgorod Region
Today, on June, 11 in Veliky Novgorod, an agreement was signed between the administration of Novgorod Region and AMIS Plity and Paneli company on implementation of an investment project to product home kits for low-rise construction. The investments of the company with total amount of 915.1 million rubles will be spent for construction of the plant with manufacturing capacity of up to 300,000 sq. m. of housing annually, a REGNUM correspondent is informed at the press center of the regional administration.
The first stage of the project will be put in operation in 2010. The investors schedule to complete the construction by November, 2011 at the latest. At present moment, a construction site is chosen in the town of Valdai at the 387th km of the Moscow — Saint Petersburg highway. The construction will provide not less than 100 work places, annual taxes from the plant are expected to be 141.7 million rubles.
“The Valdai district is suitable for the project implementation. The construction site is located in an industrial area, equidistant from Moscow and Petersburg regions, major markets. Cost of transport will not have essential impact on the prime cost of the production,” said the director general of AMIS Kirill Samorukov.
Novgorod Region Governor Sergey Mitin stressed that one of major spheres of the regional economy is the low-rise construction development. According to him, low-rise houses must be not less than one third of the built up housing in the region.
The price of housing per one sq. m will be 7,277 rubles when delivered from the complex storage place. As investors noticed, today one can spend up to five years waiting for an own dwelling place. Constructing a cottage with an area of 100-120 sq. m from a home kit on a prepared ground will take about five days of work of a group of 4-6 workers, meanwhile they will need no lifting gear.
Lifetime of the kits is 50 years at least. It is planned to set a modern automatic complex of equipment by leading world manufacturers that will allow making the home kits with a high level of readiness, with already fixed doorways and window openings, ducks for cables and other engineering services.
