Moscow city administration decides on process of compensating for demolished garages
The authorities of the Russian capital have decided on how to compensate the damage for demolition of individual vehicle sheds on the site of construction of the first section of the fourth transport ring starting from Shosse Enthusiastov up to Shchelkovskoe Shosse. According to a document of the city administration, owner of the garage to be demolished will be granted a car-place in the garage complexes constructed by means of the budget. Muscovites whose vehicle shed property right is not registered are offered to get involved in financing of construction of a garage complex where they will be granted a car-place.
If district residents do not want to participate in shared construction by any reason, they will have the right to rent a car-place. In case they turn down all offers, owners and users of vehicle sheds who are not having the property rights issued properly, will receive financial compensation. It will be calculated on the basis of an independent estimation.
Now the prefect’s office should make a list of addresses and names of those owning vehicle sheds both under the property right and without it. Regardless of damage compensation form, the authorities with sign a special agreement with all vehicle shed owners. About 6,000 garages are planned to be demolished in the place of a new track, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
