Price of one hundred square meters of land in Azerbaijan exceeded $24,600
A price increase at the real estate market in Azerbaijan continued in April, 2008, the “Participants of the real estate market” Public Association informed REGNUM, noting that nevertheless the real estate market became less active compared to last months.
In Baku, during the last month the price of one hundred sq. m. of land increased by 3.2% and made $ 24,618 (in March — $23,854). The exposition period in the market increased by 5.2% comparing to the previous month. It is related to the increase of supply and the land price. It was stated during the researches, that within a month in the suburbs of Baku and in outlying districts the demand for land in comparison with the center was higher, and growth of the price index took place due to inexpensive lands. It can be explained by the fact that the supply of land in the center of the city lessened and the prices increased.
