Revenues of consolidated budget in Kirov Region increased by 1.5 times

The revenues of the consolidated budget in Kirov Region totaled 8.5 bn rubles for the period from January to March 2008, which is 29.3% from the year’s plan and showed growth of 1.5 times comparing to the same of the same period last year, REGNUM is told at the regional department of the Russian Federal Statistical Agency.
The expenditures were 6 bn rubles, which is 19.4% of the year’s plan showing growth by 25.4% comparing to the same period last year. Net income of the regional budget (without inpayments from the federal budget) was constituted by the income tax (38%), profit tax (24%), excises (10%), revenues from commercial activity (8%).
Major items of expenses in the structure of expenditures in the first quarter of 2008 were spending for social and cultural activities (63%) and economy (12%). 3.8 bn rubles were spent for social and cultural activities, 43% of which for education, 30% for the social policy, 21% for healthcare, physical training and sports.
