Timoshenko has announced that she would like to have
long-term contracts with the Russian side in the natural gas sphere:
“for 3 or 5 or maybe even 10 years.” REGNUM correspondent quotes Timoshenko who spoke at a press conference in
Kiev on March 14.
“We would like to have long-term contracts in order
to be sure and have a predictable inflation,” the prime minister,
in particular said. She has informed that talks on signing a
strategic agreement on gas supplies will be continued. “I think
that the gas price will rise gradually, not spontaneously,” she
supposes.
Timoshenko has not been able to directly answer the
question on when the RosUkrEnergo Company is going to be excluded
from the supplies chain. She said that negotiations on this will be
continued.
