Ukrainian peacekeeper died in Kosovo

Last night, a wounded Ukrainian peacekeeper who was
injured in clashes in Mitrovica, Kosovo, died in hospital. Head of
Supreme Rada Arseny
Yatsenyuk informed about it at a parliamentary session on March
18, REGNUM correspondent
in Kiev has reported. Yatsenyuk said he had not yet been informed of
the peacekeeper's name.
The day before, 15 Ukrainian peacekeepers received
injuries in clashes with local Serb population, one of them was
hospitalized in a grave condition.
The injured received mostly missile wounds after
their positions were bombed with hand grenades. They were promptly
brought to a US hospital.
A total 50 Ukrainian peacekeepers are deployed in
Mitrovica. They have 7 service dogs at their disposal.
