Yaroslavl Region governor to bring 5 bn rubles for construction of Yaroslavl city center from St. Petersburg Economic Forum

The governor of the Yaroslavl Region Sergey Vakhrukov is taking part in work of XII International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg, the press-service of government of the Yaroslavl Region informed a REGNUM correspondent on June 7.
Within the framework of the forum a meeting of Sergey Vakhrukov is planned with Jeannot Krecké, the Minister for Foreign Trade and Economy of the Great Duchy of Luxemburg and with Gaston Stronck, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Great Duchy of Luxemburg in the Russian Federation. The issue of attracting investments of Luxemburg in the economy of the Yaroslavl Region is on the agenda, they said at the government of the region.
Also the governor of the region will meet with the director general of the Russian machines Valery Lukin. During the meeting, questions of economic cooperation of Russia and Belorussia will be discussed in the context of collaboration of Diesel engine corporations of GAZ Group, included in holding the Russian machines, and the Minsk Car Plant MAZ. Other theme of discussion will be the joint participation in preparation of materials on development and creation of diesel engine cluster (federal center of diesel engine development), and also active participation of GAZ Group in social infrastructure development of Yaroslavl within the framework of preparation to the 1000th anniversary of the city.
During the forum, the governor of Yaroslavl Region Sergey Vakhrukov and the director general of Glavstroy Corporation Arthur Markaryan will sign an agreement between Glavstroy company and the government of Yaroslavl Region concerning implementation of the project on complex construction of housing sector with the area of 5.18 ha in the center of Yaroslavl city. Within the framework of this project is planned the construction of multifunctional public-business complex and housing group. On preliminary estimations, the volume of investments will be exceeded 5 billion rubles, explained in the government of region.
